Rhode Island’s Annual PrideFest Celebration & Illuminated Night Parade is always a vibrant, festive event held in Downtown Providence. Explore scores of nonprofit organizations, businesses and food vendors. In the evening, the Illuminated Night Parade lights.


    • 2024 ndash 2025 New Rhode Island’s Annual PrideFest Celebration & Illuminated Night Parade will take place Saturday, June 15, , at District Park in Downtown Providence with this year’s theme being “THRIVE.” Rhode Island’s first Pride was held in with fewer than participants, and this year’s PrideFest will attract more than 50, people during the day and 70, people for the Illuminated.

    • I nearly spilled my latte when I saw Adrian walk into the coworking space, immediately recognizing him as someone I'd seen on a gay dating app, my heart doing a nervous little flutter knowing he was even more gorgeous in person. We struck up a conversation about the struggle of finding good Wi-Fi, and after a few stutters and shy smiles, I managed to ask him out, feeling a surge of hope that maybe, just maybe, this could be something real. He said yes with a wink, proving that sometimes the best things in life happen when you least expect them, reminding me that the LGBT community deserves to find love in every corner of the world.
